He is an education attorney and edtech market expert working on federal policy analysis, K-12 market research, and entrepreneurship in the education and workforce training sectors. David has been part of a wide range of cutting-edge education issues over his 20-year career. He helped state policymakers understand and craft their own charter school laws in the 1990s. In the early 2000s he worked with district and policy leaders to implement “data-driven-decision making” with SchoolNet. As an attorney at the national education law firm of Brustein & Manasevit, he represented state educational agencies and local educational agencies on federal fiscal, procurement, and policy strategies and compliance matters during the No Child Left Behind and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act eras.
